A Jewelry House Rooted in Craft

Jewel Box Hawaii was founded on the belief that fine jewelry should be created and cared for with intention. Whether designing a custom piece, restoring a family heirloom, or documenting a collection for estate planning, our approach remains consistent: precision, clarity, and respect for craftsmanship.

We work with a long-term perspective. Jewelry is not simply worn. It is carried forward.

The Jeweler at the Bench

Jewel Box Hawaii is owned by Steve, a graduate gemologist trained in gemology, jewelry manufacturing, design, and appraisal. Every custom piece, restoration, and appraisal that comes through the shop is handled by him in Honolulu rather than sent away, which is why a design can be adjusted mid-process and an heirloom never leaves the island.

He is also licensed by the State of Hawaii to buy estate jewelry. In practice that means an inherited collection can be identified, valued, restored, redesigned, or sold in one conversation with one person, and you are never sent elsewhere for the next step. Everything is made here in Honolulu, and Jewel Box Hawaii exhibited at the 2026 Made in Hawaii Festival.

A Contemporary Jewelry House

While rooted in heritage, Jewel Box Hawaii operates with modern precision. From custom design to estate advisory, each service reflects careful planning, transparent communication, and disciplined craftsmanship.

Our goal is not only to create beautiful pieces, but to ensure they endure.

Everything we make is made here in Honolulu. We exhibit at the Made in Hawaii Festival at the Hawaii Convention Center, the state's largest showcase of locally made products, where vendors are vetted against Hawaii's Made in Hawaii standards.
